Buildings are essentially groups of rooms/resources that share the same settings. This allows for easier management of your Room Booking System devices and your office resources in general.
Buildings are not connected in your calendar and are exclusive to your Room Booking System Web Portal account. These buildings can be anything from a different office to simply a different room you wish to set different settings. So, when adding a building, you are actually creating it.

How to add a building
- Log in to the Room Booking System Web Portal with your account credentials
- Navigate to the “Manage” page via the top navigation menu
- Select “Buildings” from the left-hand side menu
- Click on the “+ Add building” button
- A new pop-up window will open. Enter the requested information:
- The desired name of your building
- Add an address to the building
- Select the timezone, language, and time format. If left blank, the default global settings will be used
- Click “Save”
And that’s it. You have successfully added a building to your Room Booking System Web Portal account. You can now find it in the list on the “Manage” -> “Buildings” page.
How to connect a resource to a building
With your building ready, you will now need to connect rooms to it, so that the building settings become active.
Follow these steps to connect a room to a building:
- Log in to the Room Booking System Web Portal with your account credentials
- Navigate to the “Manage” page via the top navigation menu
- Select “Rooms” from the left-hand side menu
- Click on the room/resource you wish to add to your building. If you do not have any rooms/resources available, follow these instructions on how to add them
- A new pop-up window will open. Click the empty field under “Building”
- A drop-down menu will appear for you to select a building. Otherwise, you can also begin typing in the name and the results will filter based on your input
- Click “Update”
And that’s it. Your device will refresh shortly with the updated information.
